Surgery Scheduled
Monday, February 18th. Outpatient. Procedure is scheduled for 2.5 hours, but they're unsure how long I'll be in recovery. (It is outpatient, though, so not longer than a few hours, obviously.) It is partly a laparoscopy, which means she'll be making an incision at my navel, but she will also be making incisions on both sides of my abdomen to insert her "tools" to perform the cyst removal and other exploratory procedures. I know this isn't major surgery, but I am still scared. -Em

I hear you chicky. Sounds intimidating. I'm sure you'll make it through with flying colors and maybe even ahead of the curve when you're done. We'll be thinking and praying for you!

It is totally understandable to be nervous about the surgery. As scary as it all is, try to hold tight to the thought that it is being done to make things better. You are in my thoughts and prayers always, but especially now as you prepare for this.

It's okay to be scared and nervous. I don't know anyone that isn't scared to have surgery. Just remember, it will be best that they take care of this now. I am thinking about you and praying for you. Love ya, Michele Trackbacks
