A week ago, I received the book Wisdom from The World According to Mister Rogers: Important Things to Remember from the assistant superintendent at my new place of employment. In her card, she said that she hopes I love to read as much as she does (I do!) and that I find the "nuggets" of wisdom in this miniature book inspiring (I did!).
Today, I want to share this one with you:
"How great it is when we come to know that times of disappointment can be followed by times of fulfillment; that sorrow can be followed by joy; that guilt over falling short of our ideals can be replaced by pride in doing all that we can; and that anger can be channeled into creative achievements...and into dreams that we can make come true."
It has brought me a lot of comfort over the past several days, and if it can do the same for even just one other person, it was worth sharing. ![]()
