I have to tell you that I've been thinking about your hair nonstop since you posted all of this yesterday. Seriously, this morning during Tae Bo I found myself thinking about your new do! I swear I'm not a crazy stalker person...just a wee bit insane :)

Kate, I too am obsessed with Em's hair. She really started something.

Em, you crack me up with the head measuring. I have never been able to figure that stuff out. I don't think Jason will measure my head though, and even if he did, I would probably just learn that my hair is ALL WRONG.

I think the length in the picture that Aubrey posted is a great one for you. Also, if you get some layers in your bob, it will allow you a little more flexibility. You can bob it, or flip it out a little when you feel wacky.

For the highlights, I like the colors you posted with the adorable Sammy puppy, but I think you should go even chunkier. Maybe that is just crazy talk though.

Aw, I love you guys...getting all excited about my hair right along with me! :) I agree, love your ideas, Rach. The combo of the Nicole cut with chunky highlights and side-swept bangs (thanks, Aubrey, you were also instrumental in convincing me of those) is definitely the front-runner!

And I was wondering if waiting until after you're off the Clomid high was necessary. I have so often done my hair on hormonal strain. And it tends to make me happiest when I view it again the next month. I'm sure it's because my moods tend to be the same cyclically. And if you have to take Clomid a few times, doesn't it seem to make sense to please yourself most when it's hardest? Just my 2 cents. I've never been on it. Go with those who know I guess.

You'll be beautiful no matter what, but wouldn't it be exciting to be happy with yourself when you look at your hair in the mirror? I LOVE that feeling! It doesn't happen often, but when it does, it's like riding on cloud 9.

Michele, we need to see pics of you. My friend Mary Jo just got back from a hair styling convention and wants to do some of the stuff she learned on my hair. I can't wait. I'll let you know. She mentioned an inverted bob that would still keep enough length for a pony. I'm probably going to get it done next week. If you still haven't gotten your's done yet Em, I'll show you mine.

Mine is definitely not long enough to put into a pony tail. The back is texturized so that it lays down somewhat flat, so naturally, it is shorter in the back. It is a diagonal cut, so it's longer in front. I have mine only slightly diagonal. It's really easy to do!! You will love it!

Oooh...I'd love to see a picture of what you look like with your do, Michele! Very cool. The picture of Jenny McCarthy's version will be good to keep on hand. I'm thinking a wee bit longer than that, but I love that cut! I'm glad to hear it's easy to do...I need some simplicity! :)

I have ONE busy week and come back to a full-fledged hair chopping discussion! Oh my! Well it sounds like you've got a good lead in where you'd like to go. I still like the OTHER Julia Stiles cut-the blonde one, but that probably just means I like the color. I agree with Kate on how to work the bangs with blow-drying and flat ironing. The only time I could make them work for me was with that procedure. And when I see pics of that era I love my bangs but when I remember the days I didn't have time for that and left the apartment with them wet, I shudder a tiny bit. Side bangs are a double-edged sword. Be careful :)

Em, I have been following the hair discussion. Have you had the hair cut yet? I liked the Jenny McCarthy one. We are back from New Orleans. It was a fun trip. Nice weather and when we got back the snow was almost all gone, then the next day 6 inches of new heavy wet snow- yuk! Oh well, we are warming up some this week so it will be gone. Love you, Mom
