Okay, I totally love the first style the best. It has nice bangs. I love the chunky highlights. You could have a little less dark (although I love the dark) and feel a bit more summer. Cute, cute, cute. When my hair was too short to pull back, I developed a love affair with headbands.

This could be totally cute too. And it's lighter like Kate suggested.

I love the shorter Julia Stiles cut (shocker, right?) I love the color too. I would do it exactly like that, and add more blonde in the summer...transition into the lighter. I think it would be interesting to see your hair dark, but I agree that you should wait until fall.

Okay - I too, really liked the first one - I totally agreed with Aubrey...until I saw the picture she attached and then I changed my mind. Though I can't stand the person, I love, love, LOVE the hair and I think it would look amazing on you!

Eek! This is getting harder! :) I love the first Julia Siles haircut, too, as Gail and Rachel mentioned, with the chunky highlights, but I do like the cut on what's her name...drawing a blank...annoying girl, I'll call her. The only thing with that one is the bangs. I love side-swept bangs, but i wonder if I'd get sick of that much bang...not that it would have to look exactly the same. I should post a link to a picture of me the last time I cut my hair short, as well, if that helps. I'm almost positive the picture I brought in for that cut was nearly the same as the Julia #1 link...

While I totally agree that Nicole Richie is just plain ICK! her hair is fab. And I have had those long side swept bangs and loved them. While I hardly ever was able to keep mine cute and straight, I loved that extra layer around my face while I was super heavy. I'll try digging up an example. Here is a great pic of you I remembered from your gallery with your super cute short look.

Sorry, but I found a pic of me with the side swept bangs. Now I realize this cut is MUCH shorter than you want to go, but the bang I think could still work. Plus it's a nice summery color right? Hah!

Nicole's hair would look better on you than it does on her! Side swept bangs and all. If you don't like them, they'll grow out.

AND - this coming from probably the shortest hair person you know - I doubt it's gonna make your face look "fatter"!

Oh my gosh where have I been? I'm totally missing out on a great discussion here.

I really like all of these pictures, but the one that is closest to what I was thinking of in my mind is the one Aubrey posted of Nicole Richie, but just not quite so heavy on the bang.

What I've found is the key to having bangs is the trusty straight iron - not that I've mastered this by any means - but its the one reason I'm actually kind of liking mine right now. That and combing them forward and blow drying them straight down into my eyes immediately after getting out of the shower. Then use the straight iron to get them to go to the side.

What am I doing? You didn't ask for any bang advice....shut me up already!

Anyway, I love the coloring in the Julia Stiles photo and also in the one you posted of you and Sammy - I think that would look nice for summer.

length wise, I also like the picture Aubrey posted of you with her and the kids and I think the more bob cut from the Nicole picture would look awesome!
